Suspects charged following multiple shoplifting offences in Sevenoaks and Faversham

Kent Police has charged two suspects in connection with multiple shoplifting incidents at Boots stores in Sevenoaks and Faversham.

Summary of Incidents

Between 4 January and 12 February 2026, four high‑value thefts were reported at Boots, High Street, Sevenoaks, and Boots, Preston Street, Faversham.

Chronology

4 January 2026 – Sevenoaks: Two suspects entered the store and concealed items valued at £1,518 before leaving.

28 January 2026 – Sevenoaks: Suspects returned and alleged to have stolen goods worth £898 from the CLINIQUE stand.

30 January 2026– Sevenoaks: Further items valued at £901 were concealed before the suspects left the store.

12 February 2026 – Faversham: Additional items worth £882 were concealed at the Preston Street store.

Police Response

On Friday 13th February 2026 officers attended an address in Orpington, where both suspects were located and arrested and searches completed.

Charged

Both individuals have been charged to Sevenoaks magistrates court on Tuesday 5th May 2026 for three counts of shoplifting in Sevenoaks and one count in Faversham. Bail conditions prevent them from returning to Kent.
